My Skincare Regime

Hi there! Yeah it’s been a while…Again! *sorry*

For this post I’ll be blogging about my skincare regime which is something I hold most passion in and the most frequently asked question by people around me.

Here’s a compilation of my skincare regime interviewed by the MDS team some time back. Showed some of my favorite products and how I use them.

However, there’s some minor changes in the products I use now, so I’ll be clarifying the steps clearly in the following of this blog… Yeap, Here we go…

Starting off with the first step in our skin care regime:

1. Make up remover: LOREAL make up remover for eyes & lips.

I’ve been using this product for ever since I started using mascara at the age of 16. Tried several other brands be it pharmacy or counter brands b4 but I am sensitive to all. It’s the best make up remover ever!! Totally economic too!

2. Cleanser

I prefer double cleansing my face even thou I hardly use any foundation or power products to avoid clog pores. First with a cream base cleanser to remove the excess debris then a foaming cleanser for a deep cleanse.

Mandy’s choice: Eucerin milk cleanser - great for sensitive and dry skin, Origins Never a Dull Moment/ Laneige

3. Exfoliate

Exfoliating is my favorite step in my skin care regime as the results are instant!

Mandy’s Choice: Odbo, Laneige strawberry yoghurt scrub. I love how sweet smelling and mild the yoghurt feels and leaving your skin baby soft!

4. Toner

I always believe every girl should have 2 (or more)types of toners. One for hydration and another one for antiseptic. Please do not be skeptical towards toners with alcohol as it can actually act as an astringent if used on the right skin at the right time.

Mandy’s choice: Hada Labo, ZA white prism - use it when I have zits as a astringent and lightens the scar faster too!

5. Serum

Most people do not see the purpose or feel lazy to use a serum. Serum has smaller particles as compared to moisturizer therefore it is able to penetrate to deeper layer of our skin for inner layer treatment. And it also allows your skin to absorb the moisturizer better by creating a healthier foundation that will hold the moisture molecules on your face for a longer period.

Mandy’s Choice: Odbo silky essence

6. Moisturizers

I think this is the most important step as this is the only step of our regime that hydrates and repairs our skin. That is why it usually cost more too.

Mandys’ choice: Odbo sleeping mask totally locks in the moisture I need for a radiant face! (Only sold in Korea for now)I totally love this brand and I can proudly say it’s the best skin care ive ever use till now. Its my little secret to radiant skin, I’ve been using ever since dec last year and it keeps my face zits free so far…*fingers cross* If you or any of your friends are going to korea you should really get some and try… alternatively you can get it from Gmarket too!

7. Extra care

Some masks I used and I think is worth recommending are Origins Out of Trouble, Clear improvement, my beauty dairy and Missha O2 mask.

Mandy’s Choice: Missha super aqua O2 mask - feel the poping sensation on your face while you mask as it delivers oxygen to your face for instant brightening effect!

Out of Trouble Mask – Origins’ special formula is one of the few masks in the market that targeting skin troubled by blemishes. Anti-inflammation Mask to reduce redness and helps in anti-bacteria. Leave on the fresh pimples overnight for better healing results!

For me, I always believe in HEAL instead of CONCEAL… I believe in healing whatever problems on my face than concealing with cosmetics. That’s the reason why I never want to be the owner of any foundation or concealer till today. If u ever see zits on my face, Yes! I am having zits (well, who doesn’t?)and I do not hide so it will constantly remind me to try my best to heal them with the correct method in the shortest time possible.

As promised, gonna blog about my Bday celebration this yr with my ML dearies... Its been really long since get some fresh air and sun light together... Recent Bdays are all settled in restaurants for a simple meal due to our busy schedule...

So for my Bday i request for a potluck picnic at Botanical Gardens...

I am really glad everyone is able to make it and all the anticipation b4 the celebration is what I love most too... whatapp discussion about what to cook for the picnic and all our EXPECTATION and REALITY of cook food is really like what Wenna predicted...

We should really brush up our cooking skills..haha!

Just a short update on some of my favourite shots of this month's photos!

In this shoot we tried orange-bronze eye shadow...Kinda love it... gives the softer look...

For the magazine, my fringe was styled up! Its been quite awhile since i do up my fringe as i think i look better with bangs and it makes me look younger...

But well, everything is worth a try!

Moving on, it one of the more recent shoot that I was asked to try on the smokey eye look... I've ever tried smokey eye some time back when my make up skills is totally CMI and i totally make a mess out of the look... shall dig out some of my old photos to show some day...

Anyway..here is how the smokey eye looks in the shoot...

Its gives a stronger look... looks kinda normal from far thou...

For magazine shoot... I am portraying the cuter look which I think its my forte...hahha...Yeah i know i should grow up...

I think the hot pink lipstick totally brings out the look! Love it!

Yeap! I know its been a while since i last blogged... sorry for the lack of post as I a kinda busy...recuperating... You will know why in the later of the post...

Lets start w some of the random updates in Aug...

Being really random.. this is one fine day I decide to tie up my hair.... Its been quite awhile since I tie my hair bcus i find it really painful to have it all pulled up for hours... Reminds me of days in secondary school... kinda caused me to have a bald spot in the parting due to tying everyday...

Another reason y I hardly tie my hair is bcuz of my wide open ears... I hope there are skin tapes like double eyelids tape that can solve this problem....

Later in the day, I met Wenna for a healthy Chanpon noodles at Raffles City while waiting for Ling to knock off... My spicy noodles...

Happy food at work.... I had my usual beef bowl at Yoshinoya...and there was this promo with toppings... add 40cent for this much of fish roe!!! Yummmy!! Love the poping sensation!!!

And yeah...it made my day....fish roe rocks...

Happy drink... Whats your fav Bubble tea brand, choice and add-ons? My new love other than regular taiwan milk tea must be the Creamy melon tea from Gong Cha... The code is A5! The fluffy creamy milk top and the refreshing aromatic melon tea is just like heaven! Best part is its caffine-free...

I am super sensitive to caffine...give me sleepless night and fast heartbeat... and I read in magazines that it makes your hair and skin dull... So cheers to A5!

The Weekend to Batam... yeah... travel the lightest possible... so every single dust of make-up is ditched... Travel light... Travel nude faced...

I am sure most girls who read Vivi Magazine will definately find her familiar... I was always attracted to her define and neat lower lashes...

But I guess what gave the strongest impression was her curly fringe... not all people can accept/suit the look of curly fringe as it make one looks funny and 60s...

Well, nv had a chance to try in my daily look... But this week MDS stylist gave me this look... Immediately, I told her it reminds me of a Vivi model... and i can't recall the name... so it was Miliyah Kato...

Personally.. I find I'll still prefer straight fringe any time...

Yacht shoot part 2..

Hey there, how's your long weekend?? I really enjoy it! my family went for a short trip to Batam and I spend the next 2 days camping at home watching korean drama-Heartstrings! Now that I started working I really treasure the times where I can stay at home and do things I like or even nothing at all..
when is the last time you slow down ur pace and spend ur own "me time" at home??

My Convocation!!!

I can still rmb vividly last yr, this time was Ling's Convocation and me and my groupmates were still cracking our brains on the deadly Strategic Marketing Proj... And follwing the project was the last 3 papers during my Uni days which STRESS had caused

-lotsa brain cell to die,
-depression
-weight loss till i'm left w bones..38Kg?
-Insomnia
-deep dark circles
-transition to a cave women...

haha!! I guess, bcuz I am bad at handling stress...and time management back then?

But when i saw this...

...it felt like the greatest recognition ever! I swear I was never a academic person...

Well, just 2 days ago...it was finally my Convocation and I had lotsa after thots looking at the photos repeatly...

Here's how the day started...

SPA = Scaring People Away!!

SPA.... how relaxing....
Is it really that relaxing as it seems??

Not really...

I am sure most of you will experience this when going to most(Note that I say most NOT all) saloons or spas in Singapore... That is why many will say they they enjoyed spa oversea...I am sure apart from the skills, products and mood overseas, hard selling is one big contributing factor to why people are afraid of going to spa...

Just some scary stories to share...

1. Nbrand Saloon

Customers are ~~locked up~~ seated in their consulting rooms after treatments... having stated clear that they have no interest and needs to visit the toilet urgently... the consultants says customer can go to the toilet but needs to leave her bags and belongings behind... Hello?? Like WTF? Poor customers can only leave until they ~~are forced~~ took out their cards....

2.Mbrand Saloon

Customers purchase facial package not knowing there's a expiry as soon as 6months...(6 months is really short ok?) Consultant says if she do not renew the package she can't continuing after 6 months... Totally ridiculous!!! so poor customer have to rush and finish up her package quickly...

And the friendly consultants immediately turn into devils...

3.Sbrand Saloon

Genuine customers go all the way to enquire about an $188 offer for package... After analysis, consultants says customers needs a $8000 package to solve her problem... reckoning that $8000 is wayyyyyyy over budget, customers rejects...

Consultant then turn her words by saying, since you are a student now I can offer you at $2000...

But sad too say...customer is no longer a student...

Consultant says...Nvm, but are you interested?? Customer says yes...(ok! I shall be a magician and turn u into a student!)

Consultant says all these are paperwork for my boss to see... I'll still be charging you the student price...

Customers den ask... then is it going to be different from the $8000 package?

Magician Consultant say... of course not... I can ask my therapist to give you the expensive treatment but you just have to sign this lower end treatment for paperwork purpose.

Ok... these are the bad examples I've heard... so I never dare to take advantage of any beauty spa vouchers... I would rather give them a miss than thinking of reasons to reject...

However, recently i've been to these 2 places to seek for permanent hair removal solutions and I think these are places where will gain my loyalty and recommend my friends there...

Good Examples...

1. Musee Tokyo

To start off, I was referred by my friend... and one surprising comment is " don't worry, not pushy at all"...

and guess what?? every one ended up w $800 package even though they were there initially for a $100 groupon offer or $128 offer....with the comment of not being pushy...

The first thing I was asked to do is to fill up a consultation form as usual... and i was quite shock to see this question...

" What do you most afraid of visiting saloons?"(or sth like that)

-Pushy sales

-Bad service.....blah blah...

Don't you think it makes a customers feel like they are really sincere in their service?

You must be thinking I must be customer to say so much good things about them... the fact is... I am not...

Due to my Keloids, they are unwilling to accept me as their customer to minimise any risk... for that, I can totally understand... They explained to me in a really nice manner and sent me off with apology that they could not provide me with the service knowing how disappointed I am...

2. OnlyAsethetics

I saw this on some bloggers' blog and i decide to go for a try for their QPX hair removal since its so near my work palce, just to try my luck being prepare that i'll be rejected due to my keloids.

Well, fortunatly after checking with their doctors or asthetics they say that QPX is safe for me..

And yeah, I took up a promotional package I seen on facebook... they did explain how a higher price package differs from the promotional one but no pushy sale at all!!

I've gone through my first QPX treatment w them and it works perfectly well! and I am happy feeling all worth it!

Considering taking up more services from them too!!

Yeah... so, hard sell not always work.... Try giving your customers some room to breath...They will come back if you are really good enough....

Blog Revamp!! Starting fresh! + Yacht Shoot!

Hey there!! U guys must be thinking this is probably a dead blog already, due to my MIA... recently, w my new job, I've got myself more time to blog during weekends and I've also been taking up a routine modeling for MDScollections boutique again... Which means i'll have more things to blog about!

Some updates on myself... Yeah, I am no longer in the skincare industry, even though it will always be my greatest passion.. Sometimes, we really can't be that stubborn in terms of choosing a long term job... But well, I am really happy I am ever part of the Estee Lauder Team under brand of Origins for 3 yrs of my schooling days... Happiest Job ever!

So...... since i no longer share my skincare passion in my job, I've decided to share it all in my blog, a place i can claim my own, in terms of speech and actions... And i hope it really helps vain girls like me...

Alright, first thing in this post... Notice my new blog banner?? yeap! Its done by yours truely... using microsoft powerpoint... hmm... simple yet satisfying...for a technology noob like me... (believe me, i've nv used softwares like photoshop and adobe before!) and all my previous banners are done by my lovely friend Wenna... so this is pretty much an achievement for myself...

Ok, enough of updates...for a starting post of my revamp blog I'll be blogging on my first experience on the yacht doing a photo shoot...

The day starts at waking up at 7.30am on a National Day morning preparing myself...reaching the office at 9am...doing make up and hair...

The first look of the day... Yellow and blue... I call this the Sun & Ocean makeup... totally for the yacht theme and my first time trying such loud colors.. I am super conservative with my eye make i always use brown...and only brown...

This are some thoughts i had after i finished the last dairy story of playful Kiss by Kim Hyun Joong:

It made me realise that I should be contented...simple things in life are really much more important than expensive gifts.... Everytime u asked urself who is the right person, i guess the most accurate signal would be...when there's mutual appreciation....

So guys, if ur girlfriend is always envy of their fren's bf/husbands who is rich and got them expensive gifts all the time, maybe its not true love???....and I really pity U...

So, i suggest you should break up with her, then save up ur $$ and go for plastic surgery...

Take these photos with u and pass ur life to ur plastic surgeon....i'm sure ur gf will beg to be back with u plus many other girls...

How pathetic right?? People can go crazy with idols w/o truely knowing who they are but constantly complaing abt someone who truely love them....

Nevertheless i still love him*Too good to resist*.. muahaha....... but I DO appreciate everything I had....

Meet up with my Pretty Wenna Unnie for some shopping on the 19th...OMG its been like dunno how many donkey yrs since both of us...just 2 of us meet up...(wu li tu li) and ah wei join us during the night for dinner....

Wenna gave me a treat on my first Eye brow threading experience frm browhus... was painful but bearable...i return by treating her taiwan milk tea n mee sua...

Hi there ppl!!! its been a while....again....but i hope this would definately be the last time i say...."Exams are over!!!!!"

its been 2.5 yrs?? its like so fast right??? just when i browse thru my older posts of deciding wheather to go back to study after my diploma...i realise i've made the right choice.....

Guess when we are choosing among courses in poly, some of us are still unsure about our interest and passion bcuz we graduate straight from secondary school which only have default subjects and no work experiences.... well, i must say science is still one of my greatest interest but the reality seems too complicated to work in.....

Thank goodness i've found my interest in Marketing...thou i always think its so general...anyone can do it w/o formal education but i've realise not anyone can do a good job.... I am really glad, i've been thru the complete course.... perserverance and focus thr goes the deadly 2.5 years.........

look at my important spirit food during study period..

and the ultimate own created short forms...can u read the 2nd scentence???

Self-proclaim a day-off during my study break.. some movie and dinner....but still mugging for the night....

I survived everyday to school w/o make up this sem....was extremely stressed i no longer care abt my looks...projs, tests, exams....one after another...mad stress....

So finally, its all over!!!get to shop for clothes to catch up with the modern world!!! Cuz i am so like a cave women during study period.... no eyebrows trimming n hair cut look at how long my fringe gets!

so, i finally went for a hair cut...

As for now, i am extensivly on a job search... but in a delimma to rest more or get a job early... guess most would perfer the latter...well, if u got any marketing jobs pls kindly intro ok?? preferbly in the beauty industry...hehehe...thanks and i'll blog more often....see ya sooon!!

Jin brought us to this indian vegetarian restaurant at little india, the food is really nice....Pink bundung for everyone!Went to chill at VIe Bar at Siglap after dinner....

Very yummy chicken wings frm the bar and the chili is superb!

after the bar close at 1pm we move to the HK cafe opposite... we spend the whole night bitching, HTH talk, making decisions and EAT!

Alright, sch had started since 5th of jul... seems like i have yet to get back to the study mood but i really need to do so real soon... this sem is so so packed!!! the schdule is tight TTM!

Try recalling the Singapore u use to rmb yrs back...

Well, for me, as much as my memories contains...I've rmb a really safe country that i really appreciate... I use to walk to sch and back home alone w/o much fears...

But as i grew up i had realise how dangerous Spore had become... My previous house had this neighbourhood police post just below my block..i tot it would be rather safe staying thr... To my disappointment, i came to realise that police post actually had office hours....

I've always tot neighbourhood police post is to maintain the security of the neighbourhood... and u have an opening hrs up till 7 or 8 pm??? So crime must happen within office hours??? Even the dumbest will know that an ideal crime period is after midnight when the streets are dark n quiet.... So i really dun see the point of the police post...

Thanks to "foreign talents" for pruning our trees, shaving our grass, construction site building, even most service lines and human making....
Thanks again to the increase in crime rates...

Singaporeans are always made to follow rules and laws regulations... and We follow... therefore things had been going smoothly until more ppl who are not brought up like us came in....

It really made me ponder alot upon this matter....as i understand abt how complacent most(NOT ALL) Sporeans are and the lack of labour to work in the lower class.... But i really hope things could change as Spore no longer feels like spore.....

I had nothing against these "Foreign Talents" if they are will to follow our rules and not harm our security in anyway... ( i know there are some stories of Spore employer who bully them too)

A very obvious example would be our public transport... I really think its a waste...Spore work so hard to come out with this so called world class standard public transport but look at who are the ppl u are sharing trains with? I dun wan to sound like a whiny person complaining abt ppl's cleanliness but it really affects other passengers...

Have u seen ppl squarting along roadsides? MRT stations? and everywhr u go u hear a familiar accent???
Again, i asked myself... Is this Singapore???

Just b4 my holiday end, i had dinner at my fav. steamboat place...Jpot at Vivo city... i love to have stemboat but steamboat buffet always seem to be very unhygenic to me...

I love the idea of personal pot incase u and ur frens dun have similar taste buds... But still....warning for having steamboat outside:

1. Make sure ur soup is boiling vigorously b4 picking anything to eat

2.Make sure u use different set of utensils for raw and cooked food

3.And again, do not drink soup if soup is not boiling after u put in raw stuffs

Well, actually the groupa fish is not that nice... but the shrimp n black fungus dumplings is yums!

YES! I need to clear my wardrobe badlly as i am back frm this shopping trip frm HK.... I seriously bot a wardrobe of spring summer collection... If u flip thru the VIVI/JUNE mag i'll point out " I have this!!!" , "Oh this too!!" and.." yeah this as well!!"

HK's fashion is really fast and affordable.... except its a country with 4 seasons so May/June would be the best shopping season...

Yup talking about clearing wardrobe... I am just wondering how do girls manage their wardrobe???

If i were to sell my clothes at 2nd hand at the price of ard S$3 to $7 including postage will u girls be willing to buy???

Note the fact that some are not even worn b4 (Impluse purchase)...and some its worn only once...cuz i bot them for wedding dinner....

Another reason would be my weight loss, i can't fit into those pretty dresses now... I am trying to gain some weight thou....

Sorry for the lack of post even thou is been awhile since my last paper and no more excuses for not blogging... i've been working since the very next day after my last paper... Due to the facial event and lack of manpower...

Therefore, here i am with my off days.... I am going to do my hair tml.... Yes...same old thing....touch up rebonding to maintain the silky hair style... I know its been years that i've been having straight hair.... Well, i choose to go the safe route..

why try sth that u think its not suitable for u and den regret right?

Anyway its soft rebonding not the "super straight type" i prefer them curling inwards... and nowadays we can always tong our hair as n when we feel like it...

Day 2... I overslept for the lunch appointment... so make up was minimal....

But i love my hair....curled with my newly bot tongs...

Expectations... Recently, i understand that the unfairness in lifes lies in the expectation of different ppl... within grp of ppl, there are so many things u can't change or can't help it when ppl dun agree with it...if u wan to do it, in ur own way, on ur own pace....DO IT YOURSELF....bcus what u think is important might not be important for others...this might be ur priorities...but not for others....Jus got too much to say...shall stop here....

okok just a quick update from my busy schedule...eveyday i am so so so lack of sleep...due to the stupid timing lessons starts....OMGWTF is 8.30 lesson, no matter u drive or public transport, u need to leave latest by 7.30am....MAD MAD MADNESS!!!

and the morning crowd in public transport is MAD too...Traffic Jam is ALSO MAD!! and might even miss lesson due to unforeseen natural disaster like....Fallen tree in the middles of express way.... and the chain accident i always see during morning... Its all mad i tell u!!!!

Pimples are poping out and my dark eye circles n eye bags are all appearing due to my super lack of proper slp!!! All thank to the stupid time of lesson(Yeah AGAIN!!) and my projects!!!

Its the saviour of my life....Out Of Trouble Mask from Origins!!!

i'll usually use it on Tzone and chin areas which are the HOT spots for my pimples.... I use it on my whole face one in a while for overall anti-inflamation...but not too often cuz my cheeks area is really dry!

Tragic of a girl who wants double eye lid... my peeling eye lids due to long term use of double eyelid stickers and lash glue to keep them in place....FML!

Everyone shld get 1 for emergency use....

My tips for Pimples:

1) Always have Origins Spot remover use when u see a "potential" pimple

2) If really bo bian it had poped!, Use a Out Of Trouble mask first, u will see the head of the pore reveal(miraclely) den wrap ur fingers with tissue papers and squeeze!!!!Squeeze madly deeply hardly!!!

3) Sanitise with ur toner, recommended with alcohol serves as astringgent...or cut a small piece of cotton pad enough to cover ur pimple soak with toner, mask the pimple...

4) Use 3M Nexcare Acne patch throughout the night...it will suck out all the remaining pus!

5) repeat step 3 n 4 for days untill pimple are dry...

6) start using whitening products that could remove scar!

7) u will regain ur beautiful complextion but RMB to use Out Of Trouble Mask regularly for prevention..:)

OK...Off to squeeze my pimple on my forehead and read my SQ report-__-" ( I know my life sounds sad) bye.....

Just a short update cuz i hate seeing my blog so stagnant...

Been really really busy with projs meet ups recently.... Yes i can sense the stressful auora again!!! The project deadline sirens kept on beeping in my head... and I've realise its so difficult to work in a group nowaday... gotta buck up!

Weekends are busy with family buying CNY's goodies for everyone... clothes, food, new beddings to daily necessities....
The males are much easier...Just new clothes will do the job....

Females are so so high maintainence....need both time n $$... Do the hair, nails, facial...trimming any unsightly hair....new cosmetics....needless to to say...dress n shoes....

My sch's schedules' so tight tat i think i gotta give up either nails or eyebrow trimming.... Only friday left vacant....I guess the face is more important.... I'll leave my nails to DIY....

Its been a while tat the feather hair accessories trend is out! Always tot it was abit too much for a daily accessory but its CNY soon! so why not???

I am so exicted after i bot this feather thing frm F21 tat i could imagine what hairstyle it would go well with immediately i saw it...

w/o further ado, I styled my hair right after i reach hm and grabbed my sis's camera and ask her to take some photos of me...Since my makeup was still on so dun waste it!

At last we realised, i look better in self camwhore pics...totally unnatural when she snaps me...

It has always been very stressful since the day 1 of sch...not bcuz of academic stress.... But...the deadly PROJECT group allocation...

Happened to had bad experience grping with ppl who dun work AT ALL...and all my grp mates were damn pissed... Therefore i felt that there is a need to be more careful when choosing grp mates...

sometimes some1 juz gotta be the bad person... when most in a grp claims unwillingness to grp with a particular person due to bad past experience but yet no one dares to speaks out...

when the person who dares to speak up becomes the most being hated....

I can totally understand the feel of being unwanted but there is too little time to allow proving that oneself have changed...therefore we can only judge base on past experience....

I felt guilty when rejecting but i am seriously not looking down or despise base on academic results...I always believe results does not prove anything...*as i am some1 who get nervous easily during exam*...and my results are not that fantastic at all...

Where in situation when there's insufficient grp members and help in sourcing around, wonder its being appreciated...cause its such an stressful thing....if the person u source does not perform & u are the closest person to blame.... Therefore I really appreciate when my mates source for members & asking ard...

*Sign*, sometimes we juz can't stay at the neutral state....

Like i've always said....No matter how good u are there will still be ppl hating u....& No matter how Bad a person can be, there will still be ppl who love them....

Reminds me of a really good lect i use to have in NYP....Guess my H6F will know who I am refering to.... He is like 1 of the best lect in the sch....who really puts in effort in trying to provide us with a better and more interesting learning experince in sch....

He puts in extra effort like giving out choc and sweets so that we do not fall asleep, performs magic in between lessons and conducting funny quizes....Also organise outings or gatherings with students to better uds them and keep a good r/s with them... and *alot more i can't finish*....

Seriously, in my opinion, a lect who teaches well and patiently anwers all my queries is really great...but he puts in double extra effort....

How nice if ppl who took the candies, enjoyed the magic and even had the slightest laugh at the jokes had ever appreciated his efforts....

Do u ever think that he deserves comments like...."all these things he do is SO FAKE!!"..but i've heard them....well, we can't stop ppl frm thinking this way....

I don't think so....but i guess this is LIFE!

What do u think he will benefit frm putting in these efforts?? all he wans is students to learn well....and score well....grad successfully... he will not blame u if u totally forget abt him after u grad....

Sometimes....APPRECIATION is all we need.....:)

Today, I vow that....I'll learn to show more appreciation to ppl who had helped me....

Its so fun meeting my ML ytd night.... seems like it does not matter the place we go or the food we eat....

Most impt is the company... any food taste good when we eat tgt....

It felt so nice and warmth to have all of us sitting n "nua-ing" tgt in a small room...seems like its been a long time since we have done sth like this...reminds me of the good old days...

During our sch holidays...working partime...so we were all "free"...

Now that we all have commitments and work we always have this limit to when we meet and the duration of meeting time as most gotto work the next day...but well, thats life!

Sharing this little secret of mine, I SMILED to myself b4 i fall asleep on my bed, thinking of the stupid and funny things we did and all the dumb conversation we had...*so silly*

Muhaha...we are a bunch of entertainers!!!!

Sorry for having so little time for u girls!!! But i really treasure the time we had, even we spend time doing nth major in particular, juz sitting tgt and sharing our lives, it really lightens up my mood!!!

Blusher + sunblock+dinner at Osaka RC...

I am sure blusher had become a staple for our make-up routine.... who does not adore that rosy cheeks??

I always hope i was born like those little kids in very cold place with NATURAL rosy cheeks...so cute!!! but this is spore....

So will juz make do will artificial....Blusher....

There is some things i wanna share abt the blusher that u use....

Do u know that its really bad when u use blusher that contains a very high content of pigment, even thou its easier to apply....as in it stains faster....

Because it will cause pigmentation especially when u go under the sun.....

For me i tried to look for blusher with really natural or mineral content frm now onwards....

I dunno if u had hear of this Averine... its a mineral blusher....

It gives a natural stain on the face....good for casual daily use....if u are into those very dramatic look....think u will consume half the bottle at once.... cuz the stain is really light....

Tried using lower lashes today...surprisingly it was much more easier to handle than i imagined...

and yeap, if u are think y the face look so freaking fair....its all due to the Sunblock(Origins brighter by nature)*y so long name-_-"* I can't blame ppl for accusing me as a power cake even when i dun use any power foundation stuffs... Bcus this is a common misunderstanding for fair ppl....

The bad part abt this cream sunblock is that it make ur skin brighter as in....really white when u juz apply.... but everyone who does regular make up will know that... even tinted foundation needs time to set and oxidise.....

So, conclusion is i still love this product b cuz it smells so nice and its like moisturiser and sunblock very good for lazy ppl like me....and i works as a slight coverage for me as i dun use any foundation like stuffs....

The best part is...its gives ur skin a luminous glow....alot ppl has been asking me abt the glow on my face....not the oily type of glow ok???? its radiance!

It was really a pity tat i can't stay on longer with my mates cuz i've got sth on after tat...
its a long time since we have met...and as we grow older, we got different commitments, diff. schedules, diff. lifestyles to lead...and so its so so so difficult to come out with a common timing to meet up....

Happy as i clear all my modules this sem... was so so so bothered by it...can't enjoy myself b4 results were out got this very strong rush of guilt cuz i tot i could not make it thru... i burried myself in work juz to escape frm those bad thots...can't even sleep the day b4 results were out... I will really work harder next sem..phew!

Back to working at Origins... and i think i am so not use to it...i get super tire after work...
I sleep at 11pm if i got morning shift the next day... muhahaha...that is so not me...

I super pei fu BFF cuz she chiong drama till 6am++ den sleep awhile and go work.... I think i will die if i am like this...

Lets do some track back... ive be studying since the end of my last lesson which explains why i am so lack of blog post cuz practically, nth really interesting happen to my life... My routine everyday juz goes STUDY, EAT, SLEEP! I am juz so lifeless...

Curled my hair abit at the end... Sometime i really feel like having permanent perms.... I've been like reborned hair for like since sec 3.... I adore Lee HyoRi style...hehe... I shall post some of my old old photos and u can see the consisency of my straight hair...muahaha...

My current Fav. drink... Rose tea! these lovely rose buds mummy bot frm China are origin frm Tibet...according to her, the growing environment is so cold that these roses are being frozen into this state B4 they can grow...which means is not freeze dried with later processing... Totally natural!!

And i could smell the difference... the aroma is so much stronger than those i bot in this tea shop in singapore... and not as pink...so i dunno if pink = artificial....

Well, and till now its the end of exam i haven't had a chance to Blog abt all my favourites from P n R!

I am so facing this dilemma cuz i dunno which one to feature in my blog...basically i love every piece to the max and i totally wan to have them...

What is all the confinement in room to study, my lifeless lifestyle for a whole 1 mth... Restricting myself from too much entertainments...being able to tell u abt the whole book inside out... and this is what I get...

Disappointment....

Can't blame anyone else except myself... is my own tendency of anxiety and carelessness that make me can't manage the problems or express all the information in my brain...

I know things dun always go the smooth way... well these are juz emotions unable to be controlled...

Usually, after the last paper its the happiest moment...but Not for today...Have yet to pack up my notes, my messy table and my duper messy feelings.....

This is one holiday i dun think i will enjoy...cuz i dun feel like i deserve it...

Results will be out on 3rd of dec....I guess I'll pray harder....

22nd Bday wonders Part 1....

Its abit outdated cuz my Bday is last month but i still gotto blog it!!! will be blogged in different parts...

Was juz a simple day like any other school day b4 my Bday... Had lessons in the day and not hoping for any surprises cuz i was told that celebration will be on the next day....

1st surprise of the day!
Guess what did BFF done for me?? This lovely BFF photo and hand made frame.... Muacks love her... and a cutie Hellokitty File for sch....

I accompanied my sis to a haircut and chill the night out with sis and cousin...

When it was abt time the clock strikes 12... which is also the time i am abt to shower....

After so many days of hazey and oven like weather... even staying stationary in non air conditioned place u can feel the humid, warm and stagnant air.... Needless to say if outdoor...I totally avoid to the max! Cuz i felt my skin being BBQ and smoked...

Today, for the first time i walked out my air-con rm and felt the cool breeze on my face....

I enjoy standing near my window and smell the cool air... It would be so so nice if i can be at the beach...

I could picture images like lying down on the beach chair or mat.....listen to waves...and sip on a refreshing fresh berry juice....

I hope nice weather like this can last....

Its soon gonna be the end of my sem 3... can't believe i had already survive 1 yr of study life....
Well, so far so good...

Now projs are all settled.... Next coming up will be exams....

OMG! Can't believe i am turning 22 in a few days time... aging is scary.......every yr i will say this....Time Flies!!!

September is here!! Other den getting old these retailers are giving us chance to pamper ourselves to make us feel better for that plus 1 to our current age...

Btw today's blog is abt my Pazzion shoes collection...Ever since the Blink Blink trend is out, Pazzion has came out with really Blink shoes that caught my attention... I was nv a shoe Fantic but the shoes there had turn me into one...

This is my very first pair...still wearing it to sch everyday...cuz its flats...

Followed by this as a gift...Love it so much looks like cleopatra style with a little dangling charm on the side...and most of all very comfy...

But wore this to Taiwan and it rain like mad thr, the golden base faded...:(

Matches with almost every outfit...

So far my Fav. pair... glamourous with a suitable height so that u dun trip on ur glamour day...

Military... nice but abit painful...wore it on the day back to MJR..totally wrong choice! my legs hurt like mad!

Very casual slip on with blink! hardly wear this thou, i think it suits mummy better...

The best shampoo i have used so far... Less frizzy hair...

Have not tried this yet but ya will try and review soon... My girls frens all know how crazy i can be when I talk abt Hair care... The ratio of me buying Hair care to Skin Care should be like 3:1...
Cuz can get some frm Origins sometimes...muahaha...

New Skin brightening pre-essence... really miracle when the girl tried... help to prevent clog pores...
will try to do a product if anyone is interested... Juz 2 pumps and it does the job for the whole face...Hmm.. Hope it works!

Gel-cream moisturiser....Not greasy too... Suitable for my sis's face...i would need sth more moisturising....
